Close to the magnificent Mont Ventoux, our campsite in Tulette will be an ideal base for a break between North and South, or for a stopover to discover the region!

The surrounding towns

Discover, just a stone's throw from the campsite, some of the towns that make Provence famous. Just 20 minutes from your campsite, stroll through the streets of Vaison-la-Romaine, and appreciate its ancient remains, its medieval city and its Cathedral!

Orange is also located 20 minutes from Tulette. The “City of Princes” takes you into Gallo-Roman history, with its Arc de Triomphe and its ancient Theater.

Nyons, also 20 minutes from the Tulette municipal campsite, will offer you the opportunity to take hiking trails in an idyllic setting, or to taste the olives on the market that are its pride.

The castles of the region

Visits of castles are essential activities during your stay at the Tulette municipal campsite. Grignan, 17 km from your accommodation, offers tours of its castle. Free or accompanied, discover the history of Grignan, and enjoy the splendid view offered by the castle on its promontory.

Suze-la-Rousse is located right next to Tulette. Its castle is classified as a historic monument, and houses the University of Wine. The park which leads to the castle is worth the detour!

Provençal markets

The markets are one of the region's greatest assets. Immerse yourself in the Provençal atmosphere, and stroll between the stalls of local products and artisanal creations offered by the traders. The opportunity to awaken all your senses and discover Provence from a different angle!

For example, you can discover the Nyons market on Sunday mornings in season, that of Vaison-la-Romaine on Tuesday mornings, or that of Tulette, every Monday morning of the year.

Sport and relaxation

Provençal nature is an ideal playground for relaxing or exercising. Les Dentelles de Montmirail, an iconic mountain range in the region, offers numerous hiking trails, for the pleasure of locals and visitors. Beginners or experienced, you can also try your hand at climbing on the rock walls of Les Dentelles.
